Team Member – Carrie Stone
Carrie Stone, sponsored by Hillsborough, came from Florida to attend school in North Carolina. She majored in psychology, earned her master’s in library and information studies at UNC Greensboro and served in Paraguay with the Peace Corps. Carrie is the program director for the Alamance Partnership for Children, the agency that administers Smart Start. Smart Start is North Carolina’s nationally recognized and award-winning early childhood initiative designed to ensure that young children enter school healthy and ready to succeed.
