Team Member – Karin Abell
Karin Abell, sponsored by Chapel Hill/Carrboro, comes to our district via Fulton, New York, a town famous for having lots of lake-effect snow. Her degrees are from Cornell University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently directs the English as a Second Language program at Durham Technical Community College, which has over 2500 students per year. Her past international experience includes working for an American school in Warsaw, Poland for two years in the mid-1990s.
